Privacy Policy
WorkWitMe is designed to keep your workout information private and under your control.
Information stored by the app
WorkWitMe stores the routines, workout sessions, exercise details, sets, repetitions, weight entries, workout notes, body-weight weigh-ins, goal weight, and preferences that you enter. This information is stored locally on your device. When iCloud is available, the app also sends an encrypted app backup to Apple’s iCloud service so your information can synchronize across devices signed in to your Apple Account.
iCloud synchronization
WorkWitMe uses Apple CloudKit to store the synchronized backup in your private iCloud database. Synchronization is tied to the Apple Account signed in on your device; WorkWitMe does not create a separate account or receive your Apple Account password. Apple’s handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policy.
Information we collect
WorkWitMe does not sell, rent, or use your workout or weigh-in data for advertising. The current version does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking technologies. Other than synchronization through Apple iCloud, the app does not send your workout or weigh-in information to WorkWitMe-operated servers or third-party services.
Data retention and deletion
Your information remains locally on your device and may also remain in your private iCloud database. Deleting WorkWitMe removes its local data from that device but may not remove its iCloud backup. You can manage iCloud access and stored app data through your Apple Account and device iCloud settings. Removing synchronized data may prevent it from being restored on another device.
Children’s privacy
WorkWitMe does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app is not designed to send workout or weigh-in information to WorkWitMe-operated servers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when WorkWitMe’s features or data practices change. The effective date above will be updated when a revised policy is published.
